Director - Engineering (10-14 yrs) (NovoTree Minds)

The Job:

- Managing end to end delivery of the product/projects involves scoping, initiating, high-level design & architecture.

- Responsible to produce clear technical design documentation and diagrams detailing existing and proposed technical architectures including the development, integration, testing, the infrastructure used, and ongoing operational support & maintenance.

- To provide technical consultancy, expertise and advice to the development teams and management on matters of technical architecture and infrastructure developments, including their feasibility.

- Leveraging industry best practices and experience, identify automation opportunities, and to solve problems using AI automation tools and technologies.

- You will own and manage multiple concurrent technical projects and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment.

- Lead, inspire, mentor, and influence the technology team to embrace modern engineering practices that enable them to frequently release high-quality deliverables.

- Hands-on Strong technology focus and research orientation.

The Profile :

- You possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field from a top tier institute and have at least 4 years of relevant experience.

- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must.

- Solid Hands-on technology experience building and running large scale software products, advanced solutions, intelligent automation through complete release cycles.

- You have hands-on experience working with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.

- You are a problem-solver and you are capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

- You possess strong operational and project management skills, complex software architectures and you have a good understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, financial, sales related to product design and development.

- Deeply conversant in technologies like Java / J2EE, Python, Scala, Spring, Microservice, Elastic Search, TypeScript, JavaScript, ANT, drools, Angular, React, MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc.

- Prior experience in Artificial intelligence linked technologies, automation platforms and product development would be a big plus.
